Ok, so obviously summer is over now that it's after Labor Day, and obviously I am nowhere where I wanted to be by the end of summer. I had way too many special occasions and mini weekends away (this was the first summer in forever that I had weekends off with a somewhat normal 9 to 5 job!). Also, summer is the busy time for my job so now it's going to slow down a bit which will help me not be grabbing food on the run as much. This is the first time I've ever really tried to loose weight and I'll be honest, I haven't been trying that hard.
Now I've decided I really want to get serious and I'm really going to commit to tracking and planning more exercise and sticking to it (yes, I know, I've said it before, but I mean it this time!). I don't want next summer to be the same way of wishing I had lost weight. With that, I'm setting myself a goal for the end of the year. By the end of the year, NYE, I want to be down 15 pounds. That would bring me down to 143, and gives me a little less than 4 months to do it. I think that's a pretty realistic goal for myself given that I have had a hard time actually sticking to a plan so far, and I don't have much support at home or with my friends because they all encourage bad behavior. Trying to get my boyfriend on the bandwagon because he could stand to lose about 15 pounds himself. We live together so I know that would help me immensely if he was trying to be better. If I could make that goal then I'd be in pretty good shape to make my goal weight of 130 by next summer.
