I feel so bloated today... probably because I've been eating way too much salt lately. Hopefully that will drop in a day or 2 if I keep my sodium in check.

Last night I went running with a social running group that my boyfriend runs with occasionally. It was an interesting experience because I don't normally like running with people. I feel judged, whether they are or not, and I'm not consistant enough with my running to always keep the pace/distance going that I plan on. The run last night was about 3.25 miles (normally I do about 2 miles of running, then a 5 minutes cool down walk) so i was nervous going in since I didn't think there was any way I was going to make it the 3 miles, especially since it was hot and humid. Once the group started running it slowly separated into about 3 groups based off speed. I of course was in the slow group, but was very happy that I was able to keep my pace going well for 2.25 miles before I just couldn't take it anymore. I walked for about .75 mile and then ran the last half mile. I felt like I was going to die but I made it! A couple other people stopped and walked at the end so I didn't feel too bad, and I actually didn't feel judged at all. Everyone there was very friendly and we had a good time at the bar we went to afterwards. I'm going to try to force myself to go occasionally, I did feel motivated to push myself harder. Plus, it gives me motivation to try harder between times that I go so that I can do better in the future.

This weekend I'm helping my parents move, which means a lot of excercise! They have a ton of boxes, plus furniture, that my boyfriend and I are going to help my dad move. I'm kinda looking forward to it... which just goes to show how my mentality is starting to change about exercising more! A couple months ago I would have been dreading it!

My grandparents are also going to be in town (I only see them every couple of years), so that means eating out both nights most likely. I'm excited to see them! Going to try to make okay choices, but at least the exercise should balance it out.
160.6 lb Lost so far: 1.4 lb.    Still to go: 25.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
