Up and at 'em early this morning. Coffee weight, straight out of bed and into shorts to make a stupid call. I think I'm good with it for a day. I'm babysitting in an hour, so just need to get stuff done before schedule is derailed.
No walk last night, company until almost eight, cleaned up house after they left, that was the exercise. Glad, it's warm this morning and feels like we're going to have actual heat today and I have a relatively clean house.
Big project this weekend is finishing up restoring the large fire pit. The two big guys I had over last week managed to detach the gas lines that were frozen onto the burner. I'd loosened up for them for a few weeks prior (hahahaha), but it took both of them to do it so I don't feel like a wuss not being able to myself. BF just laughs at me and says he's glad I didn't break out the blowtorch at any point. It was close, I obsessed for almost a month and tried a lot of different things. Saved a couple hundred bucks in parts, so totally worth it. This thing is so awesome.
Good on the numbers. I like where the muscle mass is headed the past few days. I haven't been doing anything really structured, just picking up dumbbells or a kettle bell when I can during calls, but making sure I do it instead of sitting on my butt. Need to start doing squats with the weights, calves are good, quads are a little sloppy despite the swimming and walking. I will reclaim my pool as my own in a couple more weeks. Hard to swim with a little one in there constantly. She is learning to navigate the current on her own, she's seven, weighs maybe 50 lbs. Pretty awesome for a tiny kid.
Shasta is working out with me. She's up to ten pounds. Can't pose these things.
