Looks like I forgot to change my weight yesterday, but it was 165.5 and down to 164.8. Not going back to change it because I don't think it will let me. Good enough.
Swam in daylight yesterday. Was really good. I will notch the current back up next session. 821 strokes, felt super good, I'm not feeling my side when my balance shifts anymore, so assume the healing is finally almost there. average heart rate in the mid 140's (yes!) and 10.6 METs which means I was working, but not fighting. right where I want to be before I turn the water on higher.
texting with my triathlete friend the other day and he wants me to try HIIT in the water. I laugh because other than counting the number of times I push the buttons for the current I have zero visibility into water speed and I could literally end up smashing against the sides for a literal hit. BTDT. not going to try until I'm confident the back is fully healed. but something to think about. I suppose I could turn it up to whitewater do some sprints without fins or paddles and get out in between and do weights. I'll search the web for ideas on how incorporate and see if I like it.
I'm feeling good today. Onwards.
