@Breezy: nothing new came through. I feel like I'm pedaling a bike in first gear and going nowhere fast 😓. But I still want it BAD.

I know the skinny fat feeling. I'm low in weight which is nice but need to bulk up so it's frustrating. You will get where you want to be....👍💪

@JB, I know you do! What was the last PM you received from me?

@Diana: I can’t tell what look you’re going for. You seem to want to lose another 5 lbs (though everyone is weirdly protesting this), or maybe you’re just trying to fill in loose flesh. That’s not fat. Only surgery can remove that at our age (post menopause). Stay strong either way—it’s your body 💚

@Breezy: a response from a few days ago. Today is normally my rest day but it looks like I’m going to have to get in at least a 4 mile walk or hike. I rewatched the T2 video yesterday for inspiration.

Hmmm, so you didn't get my recent PM ?!? I can't do 'Sarah Connor' in T2 (age is a factor) I can strive for a better version of 'Sarah Connor' in later years! That's my goal

@Breezy: you're like my older sister, which is not out of T2 range! Nonetheless, Linda Hamilton at 61 trained for a year lifting weights and taking Pilates classes, and was a badass in the last film, so that is still a worthy goal! I think most women her size would be flat on their backs if they tried to fire one of her ginormous guns 😆

Jb, When I say skinny fat it's the loose skin I'm talking about and the couple of areas I can't seem to get rid of. I strangely have a bit of a muffin top even though I'm not heavy. I do all my lower core work religiously but it's still there.. I'm not looking to go below 128. It does happen but you know how weight fluctuates...I'll admit I get worried when I'm above 130 but trying to work on that..

@Diana: yeah, Skinny-Fat is referring to people who are thin but never exercise, which is not you.😉🏋🏻♀️. You could fill in some of that loose skin, but you will look bulkier and bigger and your clothes will no longer fit. That's the opposite direction of where I'm going (it's Linda Hamilton in Terminator mode for me, circa 1991). You have every right to fight 130+ lbs. if you don't like how it looks or feels on you. Ignore everyone with their 2¢ who doesn't live in your skin! 💚

Diana -- I developed a muffin top with menopause. I used to have a thin waist -- at least during the times I wasn't obese. So I miss my waist! And yes, there are parts of me that look like a deflated balloon these days 🤣 I'll still take it over filling it out with the excess weight I used to have 😊

I've had knee injuries from both running and playing A LOT of tennis. My knee surgeon advised me to take up cycling, as it strengthens muscles both above and below the knee, making it more stable. Good cardio workout, and better calorie burner than running!

@Steve: I would so love to enjoy cycling for all the benefits you listed, but I just dislike sitting for long periods of time. Stationary bikes are even worse for me. I dance now and hike because they're easier on my knees. I'm sorry to hear that your previous activities are no longer doable. Hopefully the cycling will get you to your weight goal!

Sounds like dancing and hiking are more your thing. Nothing wrong with that! Do what you enjoy. :-) You don't want your exercise to be a chore, so good for you. Good luck on your journey!
