It's been 15 weeks on Atkins with a total of 28 pounds lost. My husband picked up one of his 25# dumbbells and handed it to me to give me a real sense of how much weight that really is. When I told him I was on track to drop 30 pounds total by the end of the month, he told me he had a 30# dumbbell too! Can't wait!

Great story! My similar experiance was weighing myself in all my motorcycle leathers, keys, wallet, jeans and boots. ALL that weight used to be inside my body!

Songratulations!! That is an impressive weight loss so far! Keep up the good work! I do the same thing. I have lost about 55 pounds and when I think about it, that is the equivalent of 2-20 pounds bags of potatoes and a 5 pound bag of sugar. And I was carrying that around everyday, all day??? No wonder my joints hurt all the time! lol
