Day 2 of a planned 5 day ‘no solid food’ fast Blood sugar 90 mg/dL
Wow I gained another pound 😫
I am sure it is because of the 🌧 rain, because I didn’t 🏃🏾 run.
I know that I can’t lose the normal 1-2 pounds a day, on my ‘no solid food’ fast, if I don’t exercise hard, however, I expected to ‘maintain’ not GAIN weight 🤦🏾♂️.
Others would ‘do something different’, perhaps try to take in less calories or carbs (yesterday I took in 900 calories and 15 carbs in protein drinks in heavy cream). However, I’m just going to ‘stay the course’. ‘Aggressive dieting’ is fine for me in the ‘short term’ but, ‘mentally’ it is exhausting.
So, I will stick to my usual plan. I hope to start exercising on Thursday when the rain stops…
😎 Life is Good! Have a great day everyone!

good choice, finding balance and stability is important after all the work you have put in to lose your weight and to build your body. you are where you need to be and just working on the fine tuning your body shape at this point. as you build those muscles you will burn off that fat

Still doin great adef!! I have a ski buddy who uses the stairs in his office when it's too cold to run, or he's too busy to get to the gym. 3 sets of ten floors (or often more) gets him a good leg workout and extended elevated heart rate.

kinda like indoor hiking with no scenery I suppose, but still burns calories and keeps the metabolism ticking over.

If you have taken any pain medication or if you have increased your water intake you will gain weight. It will drop 2-5 pounds in the next day or two. Don’t “freak” out. The amount of crud you are getting rid of will make you feel awesome. Great will power.

Well, the rain has to stop eventually, doesn't it :) Glad to see you are going to hang in with your plan and just go with it - you'll be fine soon!

I hope tomorrow is a better day for you! 🙏
And if that were my situation I would try to add more calories, I don't know what do you think about it, but for my own experience I know that I stop losing weight if I eat less than 1000 calories per day for too long.

Sorry the rain is messin with your groove! Still too crowded at the gym? I finally did some squats and a couple sets of weights today after work AT home 😁

@CrashtestDawnie - Good job on the Squats! To drop weight I need to run. I 'tried' to run on the treadmill at the gym, but, when you get used to 5-7 mile runs a treadmill is boring. I could only do it for 30 minutes :(
