It may come to that. If I haven’t gone by the end of the day I’ll pick up a box of tea to drink before bed. Somebody told me Smooth Move was good, not to aggressive lol

I use Metamucil, I do a half dose twice a day and it seems to always help without over doing it

Smooth move worked great when my preteen daughter kept struggling with constipation

Colace even the store brand but Ducolax works better not going that many days. The Colace is a laxative stool softener. For a while they were using Ducolax as part of the prep for a colonoscopy. If you keep having this trouble, I would suggest the Colace every other day. It’s not too aggressive and you will not live in the toilet. Good luck!🌹

Dulcolax really does work, but really strong to use everyday. I use when I haven't gone in days like you. In between I use Pruenella, it is more natural use of prunes.

Magnesium tablets work too

Oh dear. Hope you get things moving soon. I have eaten prunes, but they only work early on. When it's gotten really bad I have taken prune juice, it's fast acting, so I only take it in small doses.

Yerba Prima. - Cheap. Natural. And, uh, not excessive...

Be Calm, a magnesium supplement you take before bed would help. It gets things moving but is gentler than a laxative. But be warned: use maybe 1/4 to 1/2 the recommended dose and work up from there or you will be having the opposite problem.
