Don’t focus so much on overall weight, as it doesn’t mean much!! You know what caused the gain! Nobody gains 8 lbs of fat that fast. You know in your head that you’re all good. Look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself if you’re happy. That’s all that matters, nothing else. No numbers.
Body Fat Percentage and body measurements with tape are where it’s all at!
You got this!

Melkiah, thanks. I have been through the prednisone regime too many times to worry much about it. It's mostly fluid retention caused by the drug, once I'm off it the extra from that will be gone in a week. I like being about 130 as that's where I feel good, I was 192 at the beginning of this journey several years ago. I'm trying to get back to my healthy eating and exercise way of life. It has been sidetracked by bouts of bronchitis this past year and the lingering side affects of that with my asthma. Exercise helps my body counteract the arthritis and the asthma and makes me feel good. I still have an ongoing bet with one of my granddaughters that I will have a "granny 6 pack" she is quite an athlete and in amazing shape. So back at it as my body heals and allows me to push it. I also like the "exercise high" ;) it helps shrug off the stresses of my job and makes me a happier person. I had to record a weight for a challenge start, so was being honest to myself.

Sandy, don't be scared. Any losses will spur you on. Mine was up more late this afternoon at the docs, her scale is close to mine. UGG. not done with the prednisone yet so may go up a bit more before it can stop dropping. The up side doesn't make me happy but dang tied to drugs. Stayed on my plan today so eating was all good. Will try to exercise some tomorrow today left home @ 6am home @ 7 after an after work doc appt. Off to bed for this tired gramma.
