Following a pre-op liquid diet the scale is dropping unbelievably fast! Truth to tell, it's probably due to my colon getting cleaned out. However, I am faithfully following the recommended liquid diet from the bariatric surgery doctor.

Tracy,
On January 15th I am having gastric sleeve done. Spending my time prior to the surgery mentally and physically preparing for all the changes that are going to come. I'm happy. I'm scared. I'm assuming that these are typical responses to bariatric surgery. I am currently eating (scratch that - not eating but drinking ) an all liquid diet prior to surgery, i.e. protein drinks, meat broth and vegetable broth, sugar-free Jell-O, sugar-free popsicles, tea unsweetened, water, Propel, and Crystal Light. I'm following the bariatric diet to a T. Amazingy I feel absolutely no hunger. Who knew?
Amazingly, I feel absolutely no hunger
