...and here it is: I have been pre-approved for my skin removal surgery. 45 days early. By my doctor! How AWESOME is that!?!
Today WILL be a short journal, I have a class that I'm attending, and I just got approved to go last night. So time is super short, as I need to go do a few things at work first. However, I - of course - can't put up a teaser like I did yesterday and not follow up on it!
Yesterday I went to the doctor for a regular checkup, blood work, etc. We talked about the diet - he had an intern following him, and I let him sit in. Doc asked if he could see the loose skin, and we talked about the bothers that it gives me. Then suddenly, he says that he sees no reason that we wait any further, and that he's just gonna recommend me as a candidate for surgery!
This is what I have been waiting for, since October!
Now the next step is to receive a letter from the hospital, and then go to an interview with the surgeons, who are gonna do the actual evaluation, but this should not be a major issue considering my results already, PLUS the doctor recommendation. I have full confidence in this.
I am SOOOOO excited over this!
Today, as I mentioned, is a class day. I am going to fill my head with info about new computer systems for work, and hopefully a healthy lunch.
I love learning new stuff and have the classes, but I hate not knowing about lunch, and having to "wing it" when I get there. Oh, well. Today is a great day. Nothing can bring me down.
Today I am thankful for: - Recommendation for surgery! YAY! One step closer to MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! - Class - An awesome day!
