I typically weigh-in once a week, but lagged on doing so this past week because TOM crept up on me, and over the span of a day I shot up three pounds. Now that TOM is actually here, I think my scale is more credible...
....and now that I'm seeing 170s on my scale, I'm going to fight to make sure the 180s never make another appearance....
Speaking of scales, my mom went and got me a really neat scale for Christmas that tells your water ratio, weight and body fat index. The down side? Getting off and on three or four times gives you a different reading each time *sadface* I'm debating over returning it and sticking with the scale I have been using, because I get the same reading each time. The only thing holding me back from that is the other readings that I find neat xD

i wouldn't be able to trust a scale that gave me a different reading every time i stepped onto it, haha, but i understand being interested nonetheless. maybe there's a way to find out if something's wrong with it? maybe it's just hyper sensitive. and i totally hear you about those 180s.

Is it the time of day you're checking it- or repeatedly one after another? If it's repeatedly one after another, I'd say it's broken and you should exchange it. Assembly line boo-boo's happen. If it does it with a second machine, well, that's just bad product. Usually my digital one will give me different readings throughout the day, but is primarily consistant.
