It's been almost a week since I last weighed in. I lost a little bit, which is surprising because I've barely exercised. I ran at the Y one day, and did some leg exercises at home another day, but that's basically it.
I've been eating okay but not great, probably taking in too much salt. I woke up with a flat stomach today which is nice. I just don't feel good. It's mostly mental/emotional/things that are out of my control. The only thing I feel I can control lately is my food/exercise.
Now that the holidays have passed, I'm going to focus more on my mental/emotional well-being. I'm reading a book that a friend lent me, and this phrase has stuck with me: "You are a victim of the rules you live by." Something to think about as I move into the new year.
