WOW, went and weighed in after the the terrible cold up 7.6 lbs in two weeks. I walked out of the center got in the truck my husband asked how did you do? I started to cry. The counsler said it could be the medicine, just to really push the water. All I could think is how unfair is it that I cant even go two weeks w/o watching what I eat, I did not even eat really bad I lived of off soup(I figured a little from the sodium), crackers(unsalted), and sandwiches. Then you have those people that can just eat whatever and how much they want and can stay skinny. AHHHHHH.
266.2 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 116.2 lb.    Diet followed N/A.
gaining 2.3 lb a week

Yeah I know. When people find out how much I eat now they say:"How can you possibly lose weight on that much food" I don't think I have ever eaten so much food before in my entire life...all day long...I am so sick of eating and thinking about food all of the time and feeling stuffed. And it not doing a thing for me. Go figure. I think our bodies have a mind of their own. After doing only two weeks of Curves so far, I really think it has to do with our activity level. I feel so much better....We lead such sedentary lives now that we were never intended to. And then all the processed food is so bad for you with fats and sugars, sodium and ingredients you cannot even pronounce. Just hang in there. I too have cried after weigh in and right now am not motivated, which does not help following plan to a T either. Crying can be good for you at times. You just keep on going and it will come off again.

It took me a few weeks to start losing again after having the nasty cold. (Since October 5) I may have finally broken through the plateau, though I won't officially say it until next Monday's weigh in, but I have high hopes. Our bodies get so focused on making sure we get healthy, that they just can't make us lose weight. I would bet that the medicine that you were put on affected your weight. When I was sick I took an alka seltzer.. 700 some mg of sodium, and that may have been each pill. Start drinking your water and I'm sure the weight you put on in the last two weeks will fall off!

Thin people annoy me too! My husband is one of those, "I can eat whatever I want, and still be thin" types, so I understand your frustrations. Like Kellylean said, just start drinking water, and I am sure the weight will fall off again. I hope you feel better :D

I think when we arn't feeling well, our bodies go out of whack to deal with it...don't worry, that weight will come off...its almost impossible to gain that much "fat" in two weeks.. you would have had to eat the farm!!!
