I did it! After 4 weeks of waiting and being impatient, I finally reached new low. About goddamn time! :)
I lost a whopping 1.5 kgs (3 lbs) since yesterday. I am now at a new lowest weigh-in of 83.4 kgs.
I have always thought that this happens because I play music Friday nights, and drink tons of coffee. I have assumed that this is because I am dehydrated.
Well, yesterday I had no music. Actually we had a nice evening at home, watching the first Harry Potter movie. It was much better than I remembered it - I haven't seen it in years. I'll be looking forward to keeping up with their shenanigains in the following movies throughout December.
Wife and I have several "series" of movies that we wanna watch. We bought blu-ray boxesets and they are here waiting for us... Harry Potter, Star Wars (still not sure about the new ones... I'm on the nerd's side in this epic battle!) and of course Lord Of The Rings. Great movies, and great for December when it's too cold outside to be doing much.
Speaking of movies... AWSHUCKS wins grand prize for naming the movie that is my wallpaper on my phone:
It's such a magnificent movie - there is no better horror movie out there if you ask me! :)
This weekend, we're going out Christmas shopping. There's gonna be a lot of little shops dedicated to Christmas shopping and even a Santa Race! "What the heck is a Santa Race?" I hear you ask. Well, it's a little event that put my little town on the map here in Denmark. It's basically a running/exercise case - one that I just might be fit enough to do next year! - where every participant is dressed up like Santa! How cool is that? :)

They usually start right outside our window, and it's pretty fun to watch. We live in a small town, and not a whole lot happens here. And when things DO happen, people really come out and participate, just like at this event.
Then again, when they DON'T announce it, it looks like this:

This was actually filmed from my window. We were sitting here watching TV, when suddenly, a rainy Sunday morning, we heard marching drums. LOL. I RAN to get the camera - this was too funny to NOT capture.
Anyways, off we are to do Christmas stuff all day, have some glögg - maybe even a little too much of it - and just enjoy the day out.
It's Indulgence Day, so there is plenty of wiggle room in the calorie budget. I went low on breakfast, and will go low on lunch to make room for plenty of fun when we're out. This Saturday will be a CONTROLLED Indulgence Day, unlike the one last week.
Today I am thankful for:
- reaching a new lowest weigh-in!
- being able to go out with Wife and some friends and have an awesome day!
- my cinnamon toffee flavored coffee right next to me - it tastes of winter and warmth!
- a very heartwarming comment from Firelair!
- A new found urge to watch The Exorcist again ASAP.
- time enough to write a "proper" journal, even if it's Saturday.
- the fact that it's weekend, and it's gonna be a good one.
Have a great weekend, my friends! Please have as much fun as I will. Life is good!
EDIT:
I had to share one more thing with you guys. I came across more pictures from our 2009 Christmas outing, and one is with Wife and I. I just wanted to show you the big change that FatSecret has had on BOTH of us. I gotta say I am proud of us! Sorry - had to brag.
