It's Sunday, and it's "recovery day" after yesterdays Indulgence Day. We had a blast last night, doing a little b-day dinner with our neighbors and friends upstairs. This time, HIS birthday. The menu was great, and I really appreciate their considerations to do food that was reasonably good. We had tiger shrimp with tzaziki, roast beef with bearnaise and twice baked potatoes and a SUPER salad. Wine was served, and also vodka and orange juice. I did great on the calories, the real killer (and what ultimately got me to have enough calories for an Indulgence Day) was the little bowl of candy sitting on the table as we spent the night playing board games.
Today I will try to handle the munchies that I mostly get on Sundays, and enjoy the day with Wife. :)
Have fun, everyone!
Life is good!
