It's a very, gorgeous Saturday here in Cali land. Happy weekend to all FatSecret dieters! I have hit a very stubborn area in my weight history. I do have great news, that I talked to my brother in law on the phone, and he is doing so well. He is a real trooper, never to be counted out. I must say, he is one tough guy. I am battling a cold, but very near the end. My knee is making progress also.
Warren's Diet Tip of the Day: Here are 5 ENEMIES of my diet; 1) Liquid sugar; like juices, sodas, energy drinks, fancy coffee's. Switch to water or unsweetened ice tea. 2)Smoothies; and eat whole fruit if you must, or low glycemic fruit like apples. Moderation of low GI fruit.3)Condiments; like ketchup, BBQ sauce, low-fat salad dressings, use olive oil or vinegar. 4)Refined Carbs; no white bread, white rice, white pasta, not as bad as condiments, but bad. 5)Potatoes; we love to eat too, too much of them. (The blame for my two pound spike.) Happy dieting!!!!
