I gained a little, but overall I'm doing well. Two nights ago I ate a steak, veering from my vegan diet. I just really craved some meat. So I'm going to add in some lean fish about once or twice a week, when necessary. I just don't always feel satisfied from beans as a source of protein. But overall, the focus on veggies, fruit, and grains, which are so healthful, helps me keep to a good diet, which I believe will result in weight loss, even if slowly.

Well, I warned you! LOL No, really, it is a hard diet to stick to. What I finally compromised on was eating LESS meat than I did before, and substituting Morningstar Farms products (or Boca) for chicken or beef whenever I could. It was much easier for me that way. Cutting anything out cold-turkey is very tough! (no pun intended) :-)

LOL! Ya, it is tough but not impossible for me. I'm going to stick to it for the most part, but I'll indulge in some fish or chicken or meat, preferably fish, when I can't take it anymore. So far that steak has lasted me until now, though. So I'm pretty pleased with the diet. Today's been another good day.
