Stay busy can help also drinking a glass of water and delaying eating for 10 minutes or so can help that at least can see if it's boredom eating or if it's actually legitimate hunger. I find that taking a walk sometimes before you eat can help you reduce how much you mean as well. Also adding bulk to your meals I can help reduce the amount of calories you eat what I mean by that is adding things like cabbage or lettuce that have less calories but more physical mass to fill your stomach so you feel full and satisfied but of eating less calories overall if that makes sense. And don't forget that after all these tricks if you're hungry just eat sometimes the body just needs fuel and that's okay. 🤷 Depending on the day you're going to eat more or less depending on activity levels of hormones and other factors such as sleep you're not going to necessarily eat the same calorie levels day to day. You may eat 1400 calories one day but 1800 calories another day and that's okay it's more of an average throughout the week. The body is it like a math crunching machine As Nice and convenient as that would be it uses calories to fuel itself so sometimes it's not as neat as we would like it to be.
