4:45 AM weight. Made it to my event and stood outside in the rain for around 5 hours starting at 6 AM. That was fun. The good news is that my car started. Yes, I bought a battery yesterday, but even though my car is 10 years old, apparently you can no longer install batteries at home as they have to be coded to the car. Computer stuff. Yes, I could buy a dongle and the software (and a computer with USB ports), but it has to wait until Monday. The good news is that i looked it up before I started as it seems not only would the new battery possibly not work, but the old one might not either at that point. SMH, stupid and irritating. Thankfully, my local shop has the equipment and i can walk home once i drop it off. More steps! Blob down, muscle up! Baby pics as requested by Wifey. He grew into the ears but still looks like he’s half giraffe. WEIGHT 161.2 lb BMI 32.6 FAT MASS 63.4 lb LEAN MASS 97.8 lb WATER MASS 68.5 lb BONE MASS 5 lb MUSCLE MASS 92.8 lb

Love, love, love big dogs. My grandparents kept Border Collies to herd the cattle. Muchie and Clyde were a father and son team.. they were always jealous of any attention the other was getting.😆

Awe, so cute!!! I hate that we can't just change the battery ourselves anymore! I found that out last year. Hope you were able to get warm and toasty after what sounds like a miserable morning! Snuggle with those pups!

I SO wanted a GSD but realistically, I would not be a good mom for any strong, high-energy-smart-as-a-whip pup. What a handsome fella. Kind of like human children, the smarter they are, the easier to get ruined by lack of proper 'parenting.'

Such a beauty! I've always loved big dogs, though we tended towards labs & goldens.
Out in the rain for five hours does NOT sound like fun at this time of year. Stay well! 💚💜💛

Shepherds are caretakers. We “found” a lost special needs child once after dark in the zoo parking lot and my big guy, Hogan, was so gentle and protective with that child hanging onto him. it was just amazing watching him care for him until the parents showed up frantic. Not to say that they can’t be problematic, they have to be exercised and trained to stay out of trouble. It’s a combo of brains and brawn that can tear up a house in minutes.
@pugman, mine is a 2013 X5, but any of vehicles with computers that regulate fuel with an ECU are going to have to be programmed no matter what make. Apparently, I want 2010 and older. I have a friend with a Chevy Volt just out of warranty where the battery died and the replacement cost on that is insane - upwards of $20K per the dealer. Things they don’t tell you on the showroom floor. Reddit is a great place for info, I used the BMWtech forums to validate that this was true, but there are other forums by make.
