Somebody Else's Journal, 23 February 2015

Thank God, back towards the 13 stone (182lbs) mark. Looks like the weight gain was just waste and water weight. Kinda sick of teetering around 13 stone, though - I want to keep losing weight but my body is stubbornly hanging onto it like a pot head to his weed.

Had a decent day, today. Went to town (30-40 minute walk) met up with a friend, hung out at the pub and chatted for a while. Had a pint, for once in a blue moon. The friend kept trying to give me chips but I stubbornly said no. ¬_¬ Some people don't get it, eh!? I had a salad this morning, which was lush.

No protein shakes, which is a bit naughty, but spinach has quite a bit of protein in it, so that's something. Will be eating tuna and bean salad and possibly something else for the evening meal, so that should give me a lot more protein.

Walked from town to my folks' house (probably 15-20 minutes) then went back to town (via car... hah) and checked out some more stuff (not much walking, but some) and then got a lift back to mine. The end. xD

I think I'm recovered from the 14.8 mile walk I did recently, 'though I still have the blisters on my feet. xD I'm gonna start exercising again (wanted a break) so I'll hop on the bike now I think, for a 20 minute interval sesh. I'll maybe go for a 9.6 mile walk tomorrow if my feet are up for it. Perhaps a 4 mile ish walk, as that one is a much nicer route. (more country, less cars)

Finishing off the day with an awesome workout sesh. 30 minute resistance workout, followed immediately by a 20 minute interval biking session using my usual 5m on, up to 30s off. (resistance wasn't interval)

Side note: there's a shop here that does these AMAZING tuna salad pot things. They are ideal for a low calorie, nutrition-rich snack or even meal. Perfect for the morning, with the fiber, protein, and low calories of just something like 176kcal per pot. Look for John West (brand) and the item is called "Tuna Salad Mexico". It's delicious, too. They even last for months, so I think I'll get a few week's worth and have one of those every morning, ESPECIALLY on fast days... I could eat 3 of those in a fast day and probably feel stuffed. :D
