You have to have a calorie deficit to lose weight. Just make sure you record everything and keep going.

I really wouldn’t worry about not losing weight over the course of a week. As someone who works in the field of endocrinology and metabolism and reads a lot of scientific papers on obesity research, honestly, you probably don’t want to be losing weight too quickly anyway as that will increase the chance of putting it back on again as your body will want to return to what it thinks is it’s natural ‘set point’. And weight regain is often worse for your metabolic health than never losing weight in the first place. Slow weight loss so that your appetite and hormones can adjust to the metabolic changes are the way to go.

Please be patient and stop worrying; you have always done well so you know your plan works. Nothing is linear in this game. It will be alright in time.

Thanks Tom. I stopped weighing for a while so that I wasn’t going crazy with myself.
