Same here, I had ham on Sunday and sodium killed me! I'm all bloated and up in weight as well ..💜

If you're sore, you're probably just retaining some fluid in your muscles. It's happened to me before. It's discouraging to start exercising and throw a pound or two on the scale, but it's normal!

If you want to get some 'sanity' back from the rollercoaster fluctuations, then weigh in every day but do a week's average. Hope this helps :-)

Water weight is typically my cause.

Definitely just holding water weight! Nothing bad! Salt contributes to retaining water as well. Maybe just weigh in once a week (same day every week) and do it before you’ve consumed any fluid or food, so you can get the most accurate weight, and not get in the habit of weighing yourself too often

Or weigh every morning and let the number help guide your food choices for the day

It’s just water weight, get the RENPHO scale and it will show you your body fat, that’s what you need to look at.

I know Erq, but I totally wish it was :( I hate these ups when they're so high.

writingwyo, I hope it goes away soon. The liquid and the soreness, I can barely walk when I've been sitting down for a while lol

LivinBreezy, thank you! I will start doing the average; it seems like a great idea. ♥

FourWheeldrive, I truly hope it's just water. I guess the scale will tell in a few days.

melissaknight, I have a fitindex scale which I don't trust whatsoever because every single time I lose it says I magically gained muscle and lost fat, and gained water. And when I gain is the other way around. My watch also has the bioimpedance thingy and it does tell me that I gained muscle and a lot of water but I don't know if I can trust it either.

Nosequepongo, I've been doing 'WEEKLY WEIGH-IN' (#1-#20) since July 4th. It's evolved over the weeks to what I want to track. All I do is copy the previous week then paste into new journal entry then change the totals and write in personal notes. Takes less than 10 minutes and I get to see where things went right or wrong. During the week I don't freak out over the rollercoaster ride anymore. Hope this helps :-)
