yep this is what i expected. when i looked at the month overview there were over 10 days in the red. mostly because of drinking but there you go. looking forward to trying a new salad- green beans, artichoak hearts, ricotta cheese and mushrooms. tryed a new salad today actualy- pumpkin, asparagus, mixed beans and kale. not a fan of the kale. super food... not so super taste. the rest was delicious. back on the night shifts for a bit- not so good for the healthy eating. david has plenty of work comming up so i should be able to spend some money on keeping the fridge full of veggies. we can only keep trying

Can't understand why kale is so popular - it tastes vile! Being food conscious is certainly helping the hip pocket - PJOZ and I spend very little on groceries these days and I haven't bought a case of wine in more than three months! The salads sound awesome (except for the kale lol)

all this healthy eating is having an effect on my digestive system. after eating cheese sandwiches for the last month all these fiber laden veggies are making me a bit bloated. however i know this is a good thing. my tummy will adjust. also im expecting that all this healthy eating will help my skin. i can only hope.
