I moved my goal from 200 to 210. I know I’m going to try to keep going once I hit 210 because my relationship with food is completely different. I changed my status so it no longer says “ it’s complicated” if you will. I have boundaries now.
Last night we drove around looking for a restaurant and ended up at Applebees because so many places had over an hour wait. I’d never been there before but once I saw the menu I knew I was no longer in Fat Secret territory. So I had the Flaming Hot Cheeto wings, the ribs, the fries, coleslaw and a diet drink. But because I’m a good dad I also had the obligatory bite of my kids food as well. It’s not much but it’s honest work ya know.
However I did look at the calorie content when making my menu choices this time and I chose a dinner that was 300 calories less than what I actually wanted. This is in contrast to the old Mike who would have been looking for which meal had the largest portion.
It was funny because my wife always orders the sampler platter at restaurants because she loves variety and when it came out, it was huge and the waiters set it in front of me, assuming it was mine hahaha. My wife was embarrassed as we switched plates.
I love this new relationship I have with food. I have the power. I have control and more importantly I have a GOAL.
224.2 lb Lost so far: 41.3 lb.    Still to go: 24.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Oooooohhhh! I LOVE this attitude about food! My biggest problem is my relationship with food! (And my brain tells me I "need" or "want" something sweet or high calorie. Stupid brain working against me!) Mike - keep on keeping on! You got this! 💪💯 🌎 🫶 ☘️
