I’ve been doing ok this week as far as the calories go but I’d like to set a goal to stay away from processed foods all of next week. My wife has been helping me stay on track by making homemade meals every night and I eat the leftovers the following day for lunch. I pack my lunch after dinner that way satisfied Mike makes lunch that hungry Mike has to eat. In July my older brother looked at me and said “ unfortunately brother it’s in our genes, the older we get the faster we’re going to get” that and a picture I saw of myself at a Mexican restaurant was about all I needed to get motivated. On July 9th is when I started counting calories. Counting is what opened my eyes to what I was eating. I set the goal to eat less than 2000 a day and there was no way I was going to let a Mountain Dew replace food.
