why are you giving up fruit. so many good things in fruit our bodies need. you cant eat it all day with out protein but just wondering why you want to eliminate it?

If you stick w/berries, they are lower in sugar & calories- and can help with the cravings.

berries have the lowest sugar (aka carbs) of all the fruits if you need a fix!

I love strawberries! They are so much tastier and better for you than donuts or cake. Are you on a no/low sugar diet?

I tend to overdo with fruit. And normally at night BUT I'm going to keep eating the berries, blue & straw. especially when I have a craving. Like you all said it is better than eating donuts, cake & candy! I just need to curb eating at night. I'm trying to stay with low carb Atkins style, that always worked best for me. But I'm also not giving up salads with Italian dressing.

Try adding frozen strawberries in with an Atkins Shake and blend up. Very good, very refreshing and filling.

Raw Almonds are my "go to" snack at night. I put them in a little "tasting dish" that makes it seem special.

good idea Marybeth54, I'll try this after a week or 2, have to watch it with nuts I tend to overdo, but if I just put out a small serving and savor them that might work. I also like almond butter :-)
