Happy (not) Monday! Walked into insanity at the desk, but doing this anyways.
Excellent weekend, excellent swim. 10.5 METs, 150 average heart rate (high of 159), 12 minutes in peak. I was working hard but not sprinting level uncomfortable. Watch said 1283 strokes, but my count was 880, so we'll go with that. Been working on coordinating my kick with my strokes (back to basics) and they are stronger for sure. I want to try and figure out how to do some eggbeater/sprint sets in the pool. that's going to take some thinking.
Also been doing a little project on sitting down and standing up from the floor using leg strength only. It's been interesting. gravity is not always your friend.
Swimming legs, crazy mop, and a really big airplane with a small bird in forefront.
Puppy class tonight, taking Shasta. I have to get 92 minutes of exercise today to get my May award goal. Need to tally up the heart rate challenge as well. and I will. I don't know if I'll win because the guys have been running. I don't run except on treadmill or sand. gonna be a long day. onwards!
Muscle up, blob down; this is the trend I need to continue. froze a good chunk of the ahi and will use sparingly. maybe once every other week or so.
