This is the second time I've done Atkins. The last time was 8 yrs ago and I lost over 40 lbs. I did the lifetime maintenance for awhile, but gradually let things slide until I ended up gaining all my weight back, plus an additional 10 lbs. The weight is coming off much slower this time, but I tweaked my diet last week and had great results. (I started March 6 and was only losing one or two lbs a week on induction, where the weight is supposed to be more dramatic at first) What I did was eliminate night/evening eating. That has always been my biggest problem. I don't know why but I always get so hungry then. Ihave stopped eating anything, not even allowed foods, before 6, since last weekend, and as of this AM I'm down 3 lbs for the week so far. It's hard, but I'm thrilled with my discovery!
