My first exercise back on the treadmill yesterday was great. Did 23 minutes before my knee started to hint that it had enough. That was fine by me. Did more than I thought. I was only going to aim for 10 to 15 minutes anyway. Weighed myself this morning and I was down almost a pound and a half. YES! It made me feel so good to be back in the habit. And I made it through the week of having my knee sprained and swollen and did not gain weight. I even still ate responsibly.
Yesterday I one of the biggest will power challenges ever. See, I used to eat clam dip and chips until my heart contented....probably 2k to 4k worth of calories in a given sitting. And that was only the dip not the rest of the days meals. Well yesterday I made me some, but choose to eat it with the fat free ruffle chips and a half package of cream cheese (my husband ate the other half later). This generated a snack that was alittle over 500 calories and delicious. Eating it slow I still wanted more but did not urge to have more. Later when my husband ate it he wanted more and asked me if I could make more and I said NO. That may not seem big, but to me it was HUGE. I have never said no to MORE of the best tasting chips and dip ever. I love that dip and it was delicious but I told him no....like more than once. ahhhh
Anyway, happy saturday!
