No decrease in weight. I'm just weighing in so y'all can see there's no weight change, even in 8 days. That said, I physically look a lot better. I've worked the muscles a decent bit, so some muscles have definitely grown a bit and become tighter.
That said, I want the weight to go DOWN! It's frustrating and disheartening. I don't recall having this problem years ago... is it age? I'm 34. Back then, when I last went through all this, I was probably about 25-26.
It's exciting to look in the mirror and see some actual change. My gut, arse, and thighs aren't so big. It's encouraging. I'm trying not to focus too much on the numbers. I am really starting to wonder if my scales aren't working properly after all. I should probably just order new digital scales.
Do you use digital scales? Are they reliable?
My gut is 46" now, whereas it was 50" when I came back to MFS, and that's after a meal.

Those measurements show you’re hard work is paying off. How is your hydration (non-carbonated water) and sleep? Tanita makes really reliable scales 👌

stay the course and keep your head down. ... sometimes the. weight seems to take it's good ole time (especially when working out) and then all of a sudden the water retained in swollen muscles and bloated bodies leaves and the scale catches up. I see my weightloss a lot more like this now (35) than when I was younger. It seems to go in stair steps instead of a curve. Make sure you're measuring your intake accurately and getting your sleep/water. :)

I'll look into Tanita scales. Thank you, you two. :) I don't drink carbonated stuff anymore. I was drinking more water and feeling good for it, but lately I've slowed down a bit on that front. My quality of sleep isn't too great nor at consistent times, but there's not a lot I can do about that. I do, however, usually get at least 7 hours a night.

Every little bit counts so hang in there. 🤗 You might combine scale measurements with tape measurement.

That's what I'm doing LISfifty. :) Because I don't trust just the scales. Lol

You may be retaining water. Cut back on salt?

I use a digital scale. I still want to open a window and fling it like a frisbee!! I get ounces with it so I know I lost or gained an ounce.

I was wondering that too. I could, but I've always been someone with low blood pressure, so I've had to increase my salt intake over the years. Maybe it's not as low as it used to be, with the weight gain, however.

I have a BP machine somewhere, so I'll see if I can check it later.
