I am doing great following the Atkins diet. I am not letting junk food tempt me. I still need to drink more water. I have started getting leg cramps the last three days and need to put a stop to them.
203.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 43.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
losing 4.7 lb a week

I have been on atkins for over two months now, and I had my first leg cramp 2 nights ago. Aren't they the worst! Mine was in the front of my shin - never had one there before. I had heard it indicates that you need potassium (like from bananas). Do you think it's also related to not getting enough water?

I think it is because of not enough potassium. But for me it could be not enough water also. I am trying to drink more water and I am going to get some potassium and magnesium pills. I already started taking calcium and a multi-viatamin.

I make sure I drink lots of water and I add a calcium pill with magnesium before I go to bed. I also take Ibuprofen for my arthius. They have stopped so maybe that helped.

Glad to hear your not having cramps.I haven't had any for a few days but I feel them lurking in the background.I did up my calcium and more water. I was reading low magnesium causes cramps also. We are going to Walmart today and get some things.
