I'm used to my IBS-d, except when it hits at night. It kills my already lousy sleep. Luckily my Meniere's didn't act up due to the short sleep. I'm just confused at the low blood sugars. We'll see how it is after having my keto pizza tonight. If it's still low after that, THEN I'll be concerned.

Well, it was 4.0 tonight. At least I'm not dizzy tonight. Baby steps.

That’s going in the right direction. Glad you feel a bit better

Have you called a doctor/nurse about it? Might ease your mind a bit. Hope it passes and normal numbers stabilize! 🤞🏻

To be honest, I keep forgetting to make my phone calls (still need to call for blood work). *sigh* This getting old and forgetful is.... what was I talking about? lol I've put an appointment in my phone to make my calls tomorrow.

That’s good jo. Not easy times. I’m way past my regular mammogram and pap due to the pandemic. Awful!

No baby-making organs left in me, so no pap needed, thankfully! The mammogram, well, I'm way overdue on that, but I'm not reminding my doc about that, lol. 🤐 😇

I know what you mean about being used to it, but that still not good. I know you know , so I'm hoping you will be able to get some relief when you see your doctor. Feel better. 😊

My bloodwork appointment is next week, so hopefully will have results by mid-March. Doctor says to keep an eye on sugars, and test more than once a day. UGH... I *hate* testing. My fingers look like I have chicken pox. Morning was 4.0. 1 hour after breakfast, 4.6. We'll see what dinner brings.

Getting old is no fun. Doing all the stuff we gotta do just to get by, and then chronic health issues on top of it? 😵 Yet you keep on keeping on. You are an inspiration, lchfjo, my amazing FS sister. This calls for a hashtag party: #lchfjorules #genXisheretostay #healthproblemscantakeahike #fabulous #hashtag

I suffer from ibs-d as well. Look up low fobmap diet if you haven’t already. It’s insightful when you actually try it. Helped me find my worst trigger foods. IBS-d is not gone but better controlled. Best of luck in your journey.

Thanks @BellaDonna. Yes I've seen and done the FODMAP before. I know my food triggers, and try my best to avoid them. I'd have to say that my IBS-d is triggered by stress at least 80% of the time.

Yes stress is the biggest trigger ever! I’m glad I’m not the only one with this problem.
