I lost 1 pound....I either need a new scale, OR I need to be drinking more water and making better food choices! Probably the latter, although my scale gives me a different reading if I move it at all, so I've been making sure that I weigh in the same spot every week! Maybe I should get a new scale, regardless! Then I fear that I will actually weigh even more than I think and how depressing that would be! I have stayed within my points, I even had 10 weekly points left this week! I thought I'd at least meet my goal of 2 pounds! Oh well...at least I lost something, it's much better than gaining!! We have a lot to do today, so I'd better get my day started!
214.0 lb Lost so far: 11.0 lb.    Still to go: 59.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I know what you mean about the scale. We all have the new digital scales and everything, but in all truth, I tend to believe that the old school ones are probally more acurate! Maybe we should both go out and get an old cheap one!!!! BTW - Ya never know, the new scale may weight you lighter!!!

I could only hope! That would be a true miracle!! ;) Maybe I'll "test" a scale while I'm at the store today, if it weighs me the same or less, then I'll buy it! If not, I'll stick with the one I have! ;)

Try to keep an eye on your overall calories, no matter how much water you drink or how well you follow a specific plan, if calories in vs. calories out is to high you will gain. An excellent, fairly inexpensive scal is the Omron HBF-400 Scale available on Amazon if you feel you can't trust the one you have (no tax or shipping). If you weigh yourself three times it gives you the same weight each time. It's the best scale I've had (I don't use the body fat features but it does that and another trick or two). It's gone up a few dollars but I don't think it can be beat for $40. Read the reviews and you will get a good idea of what people think of it. You are doing well bethie, keep it up!
