Eat some fiber 1 cereal and avocado. Better than any drugs, pills, and drink water, lots of it and move around.

I overdid it on the prunes and thought I might die. Apparently 20 prunes is too many.

I used to be constipated all the time but I changed the way I eat completely. I have a smoothie with ALL kinds of vegetables and fruits and ground flax seeds for breakfast. I even put fresh ginger, turmeric and raw garlic in it. (This helps feed the good bacteria in the gut). For lunch , it is always a huge salad of different greens and lots of raw vegetables. Dinner is usually something cooked. When I have bread or pasta I find that I never poop. It acts like glue! Now, I find that I have to poop sometimes after every meal! I do take a 400mg magnesium citrate each morning like others have recommended. There is a product called Calm that is very good too that you can mix with water but I prefer taking a pill. You can find it at Whole Foods. Good luck!
