Thanks all. @Mammajamma1 - I set the "ideal weight" in achievable increments. It keeps me motivated. I've worked my way down from 310. Slowly and sometimes even backwards, but eventually I'll be at my "ideal weight" (never at what the doctors say, but *my* ideal).

@lchfjo I totally agree with your method of personalized SMART goals. I was at 294 and now at 203.5. My goal is 180. I've beaten myself up when I've gone backward or plateau'd. I have to remind myself that even when I falter, it's a good learning opportunity. This is a lifestyle change, not a fad diet. So, Life will get in the way because that's what It does. And I've to remind myself that it's ok, and I have the power to devise a way to manage.

@.....V, yep, we are our worst enemies. We strive for perfection, but as humans, it's impossible. Keto is now my way of life. And when life gives me lemons, I no longer make lemonade (too high in sugars, lol), I make Keto lemon curd (nom nom).
