Go back on the metformin for a while - your body is very insulin resistant! Follow this pattern:
Net carbs/day 30-50 = total carbs - fiber.
Record your food
Don't worry about exercise now - just walk 20 - 30 minutes/day
Drink 80 oz/water/day
Eat 6-7 small meals/day
Make sure you get between 80-120 grams of protein/day Use protein shakes
For now go off all dairy and gluten
Protein shake you will love: Called Plant fusion chocolate at Vitamin Cottage. Use 4 cups unsweetened almond milk, little vanilla, cinnamon, allspice. Put almond milk in blender, add seasoning, while the blender is running put in 2 scoops of Plant Fusion and continue to blend until totally smooth - will taste like chocolate malt. Sip on it all day. Keep inn the refrig or add ice if you need it colder.
