Managed to lose just slightly. I was wondering if I would gain this week - had excess carbs two days. But yesterday just had soup. I just looked at myself in the mirror with my shirt off. My goal weight will be 190. I'm 6'3" - a shade under. I'm skinny enough! There's belly fat - barely. It'll get burned off with exercise. If I was twenty-five being thinner would be cool, but as one gets older they need a little more weight on them. My former huge gut of seventy pounds ago is gone! Will do totals for the week later... Monday - 45 carbs Tuesday - 52 carbs Wednesday - 55 carbs Thursday - 224 carbs Friday - 146 carbs Saturday -40 carbs Sunday - 32 carbs Measurements same - waist 37" chest 41" Will probably join gym in the next month. Went off of diet Thursday and Friday totally, however I'm doing much better now. I can eat some carbs now as I'm almost on maintenance. I saw myself in a large mirror downtown a little while ago, I'm thin! What a difference from seventy pounds ago that there are pictures of me my sister has up of me on the wall. No more mindless eating. Today I had a little juice because I have a cold, a friend tried to give me a half gallon of orange juice, I don't need it. I take Vitamin C and the sugar calories aren't good. An orange is OK, but I don't drink juice anymore, it is one of the reasons I put on all that weight. Exercised daily - except a few days because of a cold. No gym exercising yet. So glad I found this site... helpful in getting the last thirty pounds off. I started at 223 over a year ago...it took a while but I'm almost there. I'll stay on here for maintenance. No sugar at all has helped me to maintain my weight loss even when I've been carb splurging. So many people I know are overeating that stuff. I can't stand sweets very much except chocolate really. :)
