Woo hoo! Body finally recalibrated itself to my new work schedule (or so it seems for the time being). I went from a running constantly restaurant job to one behind a desk (complete with my own cubicle). I'm fairly certain that I've mentioned that during the first few weeks I was trying to cut calories due to lack of activity, and my body was freaking out, thinking it was starving and held on to everything.
....this is why I haven't weighed in for a month. I was stuck at my previous weight, no matter how many times I hit the gym or how many calories I cut....
...but I think it may be corrected now (fingers crossed!)
Hit the gym in my apartment complex for the first time in a while today (been using the one at work lately), and was in the weight room with one other dude. He wasn't massive, but had a bit of definition in his arms and legs. I have no problem working out with other people present, but when you're grunting like an animal in heat and trying to make it sound like counting, you're trying a bit too hard to get my attention (not to mention, I don't see a point in counting aloud if you're wearing earphones, just saying).
So, anyone have any good "I'm making obnoxious noises to catch your attention while I work out" stories? I feel like this is the same type of thing as people using their laptops in coffee houses.
Happy Friday
