Life is great on my end! Im eating corn on the cob again! And the scales are tipping down in my favor despite the corn! Yesterday I ate: toast and egg for breakfast, a banana shake with almond milk, pulled pork with bbq sauce, an ear of corn, a salad with carrots, feta cheese, and salsa, and chocolate espresso beans, and pickles :)
I spent 2006-2007 losing a little over 40 pounds eating 800 calories/day, the cabbage soup diet, Weight Watchers Wendi-style, atkins induction, and more cabbage soup diet haha! Since early this year, I resolved to pick up on atkins again, but as usual, I failed the plan. I have tried about 6 attempts to get back on..but I am weak, I suppose.
I guess Im doing Wendie-style Weight Watchers now, but Im using calorie shifting instead..keeping the calories low like with WW. Today is my 1200 calorie day, since I dont work tonight.. I will do my utmost not to eat after 6pm!
Its easier when Im at work in the evening. They had brownies at work last night. I knew better..and grabbed a fresh cup of coffee instead. Thoughts trigger emotions..so if I didnt THINK of the brownies, then I didnt become emotionally linked to them..wanting them!
Anyhow, I work in the recovery room, and its FREEZING in there! So a hot cup of joe is just the thing to get my heart pumping and temperature elevated!
