Could my body have finally decided to start dropping weight or is this just the water from cheating two days? I am back to my pre fast weight and if I can drop 2 pounds, that will be post fast weight. Ahh the struggle. This next week will be revealing. Last Monday I have been zero to low carbs and still wasnt back into ketosis yesterday. I was surprised. Usually I can get back into keto after 3 days. Well, have a good weekend. Not much to say but I'm going to eat ground beef and bacon today. That's it. Keto on.

oh, I finally found a safe clean fat source for myself, pork belly. I found it at the local supermarket, I had to ask as I would never find it. Cheap uncured and just about pure fat. I don't know if this option would help you in your quest

Great news! I'm thinking the fast worked, but, of course *I* would think that :) I know people do not like to 'prick their finger' but, by taking my blood glucose levels I can clearly see when I am NOT in 'fat burning' mode (when it is above 100). I also know that when I am lower than 85 weight loss will follow...

adefwebserver i have really good glucose. its always low. go figure haha. Ya, maybe i didn't lose weight on the 5 day fast because of the 2 day carb load after, but maybe it kicked my body into losing, hmm? maybe.

Baskington, smart girl, i actually found that Port shoulder or butt... or what ever it is called, and bought one a few weeks ago and this morning, i bought a used crock pot from goodwill to cook it in. I'll let ya know how it works out this week. I have enough fat, i end up throwing out lots of fat after cooking. i just can't ingest it all. . I like the meat.

me too, but I never seem to have my fat levels up with just eating the meat. You can have more variety then I can right now. good idea with the crock pot
