Praying for strength today.

We went grocery shopping and I got some snacks that will hopefully keep me from eating junk. We got almonds, cheese, eggs (which I will boil), bananas, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, and yogurt. Yeah fruit has kind-of-high carbs but it’s better than cookies.
135.4 lb Lost so far: 10.6 lb.    Still to go: 15.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

When you feel hungry between meals eat 10 or 100 calories of almonds (log them 😉) it will satisfy your hunger

I packed 1 ounce of almonds, <1 ounce of cheese, 5 oz of berries, a container of yogurt (5.3 oz), and 1 ounce of granola for my workday (8-6). That’s a little over 500 calories if I eat it all, and I’ll have plenty of room for dinner. I have high hopes for today.

Those are perfect snacks - I bet you will have no problem staying away from the junk food!

Bananas and grapes are high in carbs, but strawberries and blueberries were both great choices. Try to stick to different varieties of berries. Almonds are a great choice as well. You've got this!

I eat a lot of those things, too. I've slacked off from bananas lately, but the rest I'd eat! I'm a hard-boiled egg lover; I eat them plain, in salads (and deviled!). One of my favorite new snacks/lunch items is the individual hummus cups from Costco. I eat them with baby carrots or an individual pouch of crackers so that my portion size is limited.

I'm envious. I love fruit but due to a liver problem, the specialist removed all fruit and starches from my meals since they are too high in carbs.
