Had appointment with my diabetic doctor today. A1C is down to 8.2 from 9.8. Brought my cholesterol down to 170 from 500 & my triglycerides are 200 instead of 800 . Weight loss zero , I basically haven't lost any weight at all this year. Doctor says to do 50% fat , 30- 35% protein, 10-15% carbs. I'm at a complete loss on what to eat to hit these numbers & get my calorie count between 1000-1200. Punched sample meal into log just to see if it would work. I got 12% carbs, 51% fat, 37% protein, & 391 calories. I could live with that but doc would have a hissy fit. Can anyone give me some advice on like a daily menu. So I can hit all my numbers or as close as possible. Please ?
