So, I accidentally fasted all day (not good when you're trying to gain lol). I'd forgotten my protein shake lunch at home and worked all day.
Long story short: 1600+ calories of milk/whey protein AND a whole can of chili with cheese, tortilla chips, sour cream AND 3 candy bars later and I can make one solid statement... it's easy to over eat with processed food! DUH!
I didn't go overboard - I just needed to get all my calories in before bed by combining lunch and dinner into one giant meal.
My stomach had been shrinking since this morning and I thought there would be no way I could put down over 1600 calories in one sitting. I was wrong. So easy!
I get it. When people say they can't stop with just one _____..... processed foods are not very filling at all!
Again, processed foods are not evil. Nor are they healthy choices compared to whole cuts of meat and veggies. However, I'm starting to really see the chemistry behind why it's easy to gain weight on them (which - as I am an anomaly, I know - is my goal)... kinda scary actually!
