@Lashburn, since you're new I just want to let you know that the community here actively tries to not make discouraging comments about other people's diets. You'll see lots of people trying lots of different things that you may or may not agree with, depending on where they're at in life and their relationship with food. Adefwebserver actually had a great post yesterday about what he learned about himself and his relationship with food during the course of his fast, and if you focus on how you don't agree with how someone else is dieting, you're going to miss a lot of really good stuff.

@MillaLite - Haha that makes me feel better. Weird thing, so I ate oatmeal to break my fast (I know horrible choice for a number of reasons). Afterwards I was like "eating is over rated". I now have food in my stomach that has to be digested. I feel a blood sugar spike that I will later have to pay for. Worst thing is that I now feel real hunger again. I swear if not for the vacation (and multiple planned dinners with friends while we are there) I would just restart the water only fast. If I can't feel the emotional pleasure of eating a Double-Quarter Pounder with cheese (this would put me in the hospital if I tried it right after my fast) why am I back to eating again?? :) Oh well I am just venting. I plan to list weights then go for a 5 mile run after it warms up a bit...

@Highland Heather - Mindfulness is very important, I agree. I tried to be mindful with me first meal this morning. It made the small meal better, but I have a lot of room for improvement because I still gulped down the remaining food because once I started eating the feeling of hunger set in. When that happens, my reaction is "Must feel full right now!" If I were more mindful, I would see that I am actually not about to starve and that this feeling of hunger will pass.
