This is how I feel most diet fads are started. It seems like some people just take someone else's word for something. I'm not saying all fad diets are bad though. It just takes science and research studies time to catch up with possible concequences.

I read your journal and I'm very impressed, your persistence is remarkable and your to be applauded for it!!...I meant nothing personal,I sometimes sound my horn in defense of carbs.

Murph, I have no issues with carbs. I'm not denying myself anything. I am just making better food choices and adjusting my portion control.
I took no offense. It takes a good deal to offend me. 😁

I have the most success when I adjust my Macros to my activity. I am currently active playing hockey or swimming a few times a week so my protein intake is .8 to 1 gram per lean body mass. For me that is 125 to 150 grams per day. On the days I exercise I eat more carbs which means I have to eat less fats to stay in a deficit and vice versa.Basically protein is static and carbs and fats are Inversely proportional. Now when I am sedentary I prefer to just stay in ketosis.
