Had a tooth removed the other day - a liquid diet for a couple of days!
I've been losing weight slowly and steadily which is the way I prefer it. Garry and I have cut carbs and sugar mainly from our diet. Our weakness is that we like to drink wine in the evening. I have encouraged him to wait strictly until 6 please so that we do not start at 5 and consequently drink too much!! My steady rate is 2 glasses of white and one glass of red later in the evening. 2 nights off per week in sequence would be best for health... but we've yet to do that on a regular basis.
Exercise is great - we go on the Monday mountain bike ride which is usually 30 plus kilometres and also a paddle once a week or per fortnight. I usually do a second ride on a Thursday too. It is when I do the exercise that lose weight: my system 'revs' afterwards for a few days and providing I eat careully I end up dropping weight.
