I think it really helps me to plan out my day's meals first thing in the morning. Especially if we're going out to eat, I can look up the restaurant menu's nutrition beforehand, and already know my order when we go. Also, if I plan it early in the morning, I think about it throughout the day, and am less likely to change my mind when I get there!! It just seems a simpler way to watch my calorie intake, and still enjoy the foods I love!
