Hi everyone, I am just dropping the water weight from my vacation. I probably gained 5 real pounds, not 10 like the scale showed.
I have been cleaning the garage which I mention because it's good exercise and it's like being in a sauna. It is about 90 in there and I am totally soaked after 1 hour of work.
Today was a weird experience at the gym. I could barely do the exercise my trainer gave me and I burst into tears! Poor guy lol! It wasn't a particularly "hard" exercise but if you have crappy knees and you are overweight then you will have a hard time. I took a few deep breaths and kept working at it. Have any of you ever been frustrated at a new exercise at the gym?
When I first started doing squats I thought I was gonna die too. But after a while it is amazing how your muscles adapt and you get stronger and can do it.
So for all of you trying new things like exercise or a new diet, hang in there through the tough adjustment period! It will be worth it in the long run.
Have a great day everyone! Shelly :)
PS I made it through my 500 calorie day yesterday.
