How many meals per day do you eat? I began keto going on 5 weeks, weight is very slowly coming off. Maybe I should eat 2 meals a day.

Salem on- I eat 2 meals a day and usually one snack although yesterday I also sipped an 85 calorie protein smoothie after my workout. Yes-- moving to 2 meals was the key to speeding up my results. My body naturally led me there because I was noticing as long as I didn't eat anything, I felt good, but as soon as I ate my first meal, my appetite was stimulated every 4-5 hours and by late evening I could have snacking issues. So by eating within an 8 hr window-I fixed that plus I can make these large, beautiful meals every day & be more creative. I read up on intermittent fasting and its the 16 hours of zero insulin spikes that is so beneficial . II've added a bit of exercise each day in a fasted state to burn only fat reserves and finally my weight loss is more predictable. I do however sometimes eat at maintenance level for a day when I feel unusually hungry. Also, I have coffee with 1T zero carb heavy cream in the a.m. Its allowed during fasting. If you feel that you are fat adapted you could give it a try- see how you feel. I have absolutely zero hunger until the late afternoon. 😊

Sorry that reply was for salsmom- Spellcheck changed the name.

also- salsmom- just eat enough fat to feel satisfied. Too much fat, and your body won't need to tap into your reserves.

I have also found it natural to go to two meals per day.

Bluecoaster, I may end up going that route too, two meals a day. Because yesterday that was all I ate, and I didn't feel bad, I did my Yoga yesterday evening, and still felt good, not hunger pangs. I will maybe look closer into eating only two meals a day. More stuff to investigate! lol

I think the timing is perfect if your body currently feels good with 2 meals. I actually figured out this was my next step by how my body stayed so satisfied for hours after the large brunch buffet while on vacation! All I needed was dinner! There is terrific Intermittent Fasting info written by doctors on Diet Doctor. Studies are cited. Etc.., if you are interested.

I was doing 2 meals and loving it. Then read that IF more than 12:12 can mess with hormones. Love your food styling! Who makes that dish?

T8U9- that dish is from World Market (Cost Plus). I treated myself- just for my Buddha bowls which have become like a little ritual/meditation.

T8U9- I just checked and its a whopping ......(drumroll) ....$4.99 per dish. 😊

That looks amazing.

I may try one of these minus the kimchi - I think I would need to add some olive oil /vinegar on the greens and stone mustard on the chicken.
